Many of these are clustered near the NJ Turnpike. Monroe Township has one of the greatest concentrations of active adult communities in the country. The population was 27,000 in the 2010 census. The town has a respected Blue Ribbon school district, recreational opportunities for everyone, and a highly active senior.
